Daily American gives us a complete rundown of previews

The Windber Ramblers got their time to shine on WJAC-TV’s “Two-A-Days” on Monday.

The Ramblers are positioned for a pretty good campaign, returning many of the key components from last year’s District 5 championship squad.

District 5 track titles dominated by Bedford

The Bedford boys and girls teams each earned district championships on Wednesday at Northern Bedford, according to The Tribune-Democrat.

There were plenty of highlights on both the boys and girls side, but especially the girls, as one Conemaugh Township pole vaulter soared to new heights. More…

Berlin sweeps WestPAC championships

The Berlin boys were certainly favorites to fare well at the WestPAC track championships on Tuesday, but it was the girls that proved a bit of a surprise.

Windber’s Sarah Snyder and Conemaugh Township’s Kelly Vann each finished in second place during the Shippensburg Invitational on Saturday.

Snyder finished second in the 300 hurles while Vann was No. 2 in the pole vault. Berlin’s Katie Bowman was fourth in the pole vault. More…

Snyder speeds to Mount St. Mary’s

Windber senior hurdler Sarah Snyder inked a letter-of-intent on Wednesday to run on the track team at NCAA Division I Mount St. Mary’s next year.

Snyder finished fourth in the state last season in the 300 hurdles and has a great chance to pace the state this season for the Ramblers, who face Chestnut Ridge and Berlin in a key meet this afternoon. More…
