The two-time defending District 5 champion North Star Cougars were the subject of Wednesday’s “Two-A-Days” on WJAC-TV. The Cougars were paired with a report on the Somerset Golden Eagles.
This is the third straight day WestPAC teams have been featured on the program.

The Golden Eagles booted the ball around and couldn’t make up for it at the plate as Bellefonte scored a 7-4 victory on Thursday.
According to a story in The Tribune-Democrat, Somerset had seven errors and the loss ended the season.

The North Star Cougars took a step forward in the District 5 Class AA baseball playoffs while the Somerset Golden Eagles are ready for this afternoon’s District 6 Class AAA championship game.

The Somerset Golden Eagles continued on their path toward a repeat of a state championship appearance by dispatching Forest Hills on Monday.
The Golden Eagles advanced to the District 6 Class AAA championship with the 7-5 win and will face No. 3 Bellefonte on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Blair County Ballpark in Altoona.
