PIAA baseball and softball: First Round

The region was well represented in the first round of the PIAA baseball and softball championships.

CR grad revives program

Chestnut Ridge graduate Kayla Blackburn was far and away one of the top tennis players to come out of District 5.

Now, she’s being lauded as a program-changer at Slippery Rock as she recently broke the schools all-time wins mark.

The Altoona Mirror has a great feature on Blackburn, who is now a senior.

She’s got her sights set on a national championship and we wish her the best!
