Not much of a fighter, Hanson’s son buries one

In Hockey on April 7, 2009 at 8:34 pm

This post isn’t so much about this area, as far as high school sports. But some may like it anyway.

Christian Hanson, the son of former Johnstown Jet Dave Hanson, scored his first NHL goal on Tuesday, scoring over none other than NHL all-time wins leader Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils.

Christian Hanson just finished his career at Notre Dame and now plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs. His dad, Dave, was one of “Slap Shot’s” Hanson Brothers.

Hopefully this is the first of many for Christian!
