North Star quarterback Cory Kaltenbaugh has made his college choice, heading to Seton Hill University next year to play football for the Griffins, where his brother, Chad, is a linebacker. The Daily American’s got the full story in Thursday’s editions.

Kaltenbaugh set numerous school records at North Star, and was a three-year starter, guiding the Cougars to District 5 championships in 2007 and 2008 and a near upset of Serra Catholic in the PIAA Class A quarterfinals in 2007. At the time, Serra Catholic was the No. 1 ranked team in the state.

Kaltenbaugh threw for better than 3,500 yards as a Cougar and is one of the team’s top baseball players as well.

Best of luck to Cory as he continues this year in Boswell and next year in Greensburg!
